Our Traditional Worship service at 11:00 am is filled with beautiful choir anthems, traditional hymns from the Chalice Hymnal, special music by various singing and instrumental ensembles. Choir Director Brad Burnham and Music Director Susie Monger-Daugherty plan the music for this service each Sunday and the morning message is delivered by our senior minister, Rev. Mark Briley, or our associate minister, Rev. Bethany Albrecht. |
The Rising service, a new worship expression is part of the Sunday morning ministry line-up. The Rising incorporates the best of the formerly contemporary service with new expressions that will encourage the spiritual growth of our faith community. The Rising incorporates a new look which includes a communion table and pulpit created by one of our own members. A new Host Team and unique seating arrangement will welcome you. The Rising Band will lead the upbeat music and all will be invited to clap their hands, celebrating God as we sing songs of worship. |
COMMUNION is served every Sunday in each style of service, either by intinction, or in the traditional Disciples of Christ way of passing trays of bread and cups. |
A new prayer time will combine ancient and modern practices to create meaningful ways for all to connect to the Holy. A challenging and encouraging message, along with the experience of communion, will remain staples of the worship gathering. |
